SortMate

SortMate is System Logistics’ automated sorting and order preparation solution specifically designed for fresh products, with a particular focus on fruit and vegetable distribution operations. The system autonomously manages the entire inbound and outbound sorting process, from the arrival of goods at the warehouse through to order preparation and dispatch to multiple destinations.

The solution is based on a combination of anthropomorphic robots equipped with integrated vision systems and AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) responsible for pallet transportation. The robots directly pick crates from source pallets and place them onto destination pallets, eliminating intermediate handling steps and significantly reducing process complexity. At the same time, AGVs dynamically follow the most efficient and safest routes throughout the facility, avoiding the infrastructure constraints typically associated with traditional conveyor-based systems.

One of SortMate’s key advantages is its flexibility and ease of implementation. The solution has been developed using simple and standardized automation technologies that can be integrated into existing warehouse environments without requiring major modifications to building infrastructure, warehouse layouts, or operational procedures.
