Warehouses, mobile robots, conveyors, picking stations and production systems have traditionally been designed and operated as separate islands of automation. Today, increasing SKU counts, labour challenges and rising customer expectations require a more connected approach. This presentation explores how visualisation, simulation and AI can help organisations design integrated material flows that connect storage, transport, picking and production into a single system. Practical examples demonstrate how modern intralogistics solutions can be evaluated before implementation and adapted to future business needs.
